AVon easily; second and third, driving, HUMORIST began quickly and, racing into a long lead, easily held the race safe at the end. NELLIE LEMON came through next to the inside rail on the stretch turn and oiitlliiished JOSEPH BRANT for second place. JOSEPH BRANT also saved ground on the stretch tunf and made a fast and gamo finish. BUSTER, and KELLYS QUEEN" were close up in the early running, but came extremely wide when entering the homestretch and lost ground. Scratched 50215 Overrun, 11. YOUNEED set the early pace, but was much used in racing MISS DORA into defeat and tired when challenged. AVAR TANK was forced wide at the half-mile post, but came through next to the inner rail and finished fast. P. T. BARNUM was close up all the way. T A AV A S E N T II A. began slowly, ETTA HE was on the outside all the way. MISS DORA ran a fast half, hut quit after racing into the lead. POLAR CUB was. a forward contender from the start and outf inished CORMORAN through the final eighth. The latter ran well and had no mishaps. AANESSA AVELLES began slowly and finished fast. Won cantering; second and third diiving. REGISTRAR ran as if far outclassing, the others, led all the way and was only cantering at the finish. BLACKIE DAAV raced in closest pursuit of the leader all the way, but had to be hard ridden to outstay MOCK ORANGE. The latter, under restraint on the backstretch, made a. threatening insh in the last eighth and was slowly wearing BLACKIE DAAV down. BREEZE ran a good race, but tired in the last eighth. SEA WAY of third place. SEA AVAY soon raced into a long lead, but tired badly at the end. COLONEL MATT and CROAVN OF GOLD were never contenders.
