EAGER LYES gained steadily under hard riding and easily outstayed LUCKY GIRL for second place. LUCKY GIRL shied at the start and began slowly, but gained slowly and outstayed LADY MOTHER. The latter was well up in the early running, but tired in the stretch drive. AALENTINE DOR retired after going, a good half. WITCHAVORK finished resolutely. SELOTA. ran a fast half. AVon easily; second and third driving. -THUNDERCLAP began slowly, but slipped through next to the inner rail when entering the stretch and. coming through the stretch with a great rush, passed SMOKE SCREEN and drew away into the b-ad to win eased up. SMOKE SCREEN, away forwardly, set a great pace and, racing MOTOR COP into defeat, made a game finish. GEORGIE was outpaced in tiie early running, but saved ground on all the turns and finished witli brilliant speed through the last eighth. REPRISAL was forced to race extremely wide for the entire race and had to lose ground on the turns. AVAR NOTE tired in the stretch after running a fast half. NATURALIST could never get up. BIT OF AVHITE set a fast pace and drew away after rounding the first turn and held on gamely when challenged. CHATEAU THIERRY came fast through the last quarter and easily passed CAREFUL.
