E. R. BRADLEYS SARATOGA JINX SARATOGA, X. Y.. Aug. 31. "The fortunes of racing," said E. R. Bradley, when well meaning friends sympathized over failure of the powerful establishment to win even one race during the Saratoga campaign. "I raced for three years here before I won a race, although T was successful elsewhere," continued Mr. Bradley. "I had bad luck in being deprived of my ace. Black Servant, but he is rounding into good condition again and I am glad that he will have opportunity to measure strides with the cracks from the east in the Latonia Championship Stakes next month." The Bradley consignment, numbering ten head, went direct to Latonia, where they will be campaigned. Originally trainer Thompson brought here an even dozen, but Hanker Brown was injured in his last start here and Blowing Hubbies went amiss soon after iis arrival. They won; botli returned to the Idle Four Farm to be rested until next year. Of the others. Best Pal. Hit of White, Hill and Coo and Behave Yourself were seen under colors. Bit of "White finished second in two of her starts and third in her other essay. Best Pal landed third money once and the others were unplaced. Jockey LyUe also departed last Friday. He goes to his home near Rochester, N. Y to visit his parents and will be on hand at Latonia for the opening day, September 3.
