Won easily; second and third driving. NOLAAAN took the lead at once and easily won all the way. SADDLE RING was under stout restraint in the early running and finished gamely on the inside through the last Quarter. FLUFF dwelt at the start, but moved up fast on the backstrelch and followed the leader closely to the eighth post, where she tired badly. SURMOUNT only raced well for a half mile. WAR NOTE set a fast pace for the going, but could not withstand the -winners challenge. SERVITOR raced next to the inner rail in close quarters all the way and made a game finish. Won easily; second and third driving. MORVICH, away forwardly, took a quick load and, making the pace fast and drawing away after entering the stretch won under restraint. KAI-SANG was in close quarters next to the inner rail for the first half, but slipped through in the last quarter and, finishing gamely, outstayed WHISKAWAY. The latter was forced to race wide throughout and finished gamely, but could not withstand KAI-SANGS lush. VIOLINIST closed a big gap and made a fast finish. BUNTING was in tight quarters and could never secure a clear course until in the stretch, where he appeared to flounder in the soft going. DEADLOCK began slowly, but gradually improved his position while racing on the outside. SWEEP BY made up much ground. JUNE GRASS was always outpaced. The last three were eased up in the final eighth. PIBROCH was saved behind MOLLIE BARNES in the early running under slight restraint and moved up rapidly on the outside of the leaders in the stretch, but swerved over in the last eighth, shuffling MOLLIE BARNES back and forcing THIMBLE into close quarters next to the inner rail, for which he was disqualified. THIMBLE met with repeated interference, but finished gamely when clear. MOLLIE BARNES set a good pace and showed excellent speed for three-quarters, but could never recover after the interference.
