CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Calamity Jane came out of the Hopeful Stakes slightly cut about the legs. The attendance at the Vancouver meetings this year has broken all previous records in the far northwest. AW S. Kilmers Snnreigh, a two-year-old chestnut son of Sundridge Sweet Briar, a brother to Sun Briar, will be shipped to Kentucky to run in the Queen City Handicap. The gallant gelding Exterminator will make another trip to Kentucky. He will be sent after the Latonia and Louisville Cups. Among the eastern nominations for the Latonia Championship Stakes Grey Lag, Sporting Blood. Flambette, John Paul Jones and Smoke Screen are, barring accident, certain starters in the big three-year-old race to be run at Latonia September 17. James Haley has resigned as startter on the Vancouver1 tracks, because of 111 health and James Donovan will dispatch the fields at the remaining meetings in Northwest Canada.
