BELLATRIX raced in closest pursuit of the winner throughout and finished List and gamely. EVIL raced gamely and outstayed the others for third place. JUG was sore when going to the post. BUNTING, after racing in a forward position from the start, responded, quickly when called on and. coming through the homestretch with a rush, outfinished GALAXTMAN in the closing strides. GALANTMAN set a fast pace from soon after tiie start, and made a fast and game finish under skillful riding. DltEAM OF ALLAH raced close up behind the leaders and came resolutely in the last eighth, but could not overtake the leaders. SURF RIDER raced close up in the early running and tired in the last quarter, but rallied and made a fast finish. DEADLOCK finished well. HARRIDAN ran well and met witli interference at the start. WHISKAWAY also met with early interference, but raced in -closest pursuit to the last eighth before tiling. FAIR VIRGINIA began slowly and moved up fast on the streleh turn, but came wide and lost ground, then recovered and outstayed the others for second place. NORTH WALES raced next to the inner rail all the way and, finishing gamely, took third place in the last stride. CLINCHFIELD, closest up in the early running, tired in the stretch. LAST STRAW followed AIKEN under slight restraint until well into the stretch, where she -quickly took the lead and held DIMMESDALE safe at the linish. DIMMESDALE began a trifle slowly and raced up to the leaders rapidly while rounding the last turn, but was in close quarters and forced to be taken back, then made a game rush when clear, but could not overtake the leader. DRY MOON raced gamely and passed flu; others in the stretch. QUECREEK was outpaced. AIKEN set a fast pace, but tired after going a half mile in the lead. .
