LEXINGTONS GREAT FALL MEETING G. L. BLACKFORD HEADS WINNING OWNERS LIST, GENTILITY THE HORSES, AND M. GARNER CARRIES OFF THE RIDING HONORS Racing in Kentucky for the year 1921 came to an end with the conclusion of the Lexington meeting on Saturday last. There was only six days of racing at Lexington this fall, but it was, perhaps, the best meeting ever held at that famous old course at this season of the year. There were forty-two races decided and 6,035 distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution amounting to 1,005. The only disappointing incident in connection with the racing was the rough riding tactics employed in the decision of the Breeders Futurity, which not only contributed to the defeat of Miss Joy in that race, but practically eliminated that peerless fllly from further competition this year. G. L. Blackford, the Texan turfman, was the most successful of the owners taking part in the meeting. Principally through the fine racing of his promising two-year-old Gentility he headed the list of the winning owners with 5,428 to his credit. J. S. Hawkins is second with ,900 and G. F. Baker third with 4,437. The owners who won in excess of 00 each are as follows: " Owner. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt. Blackford, G. L 4 1 0 5,428 Hawkins, J. S 1 0 0 4,900 Baker, G. F 3 0 3 4,437 Hewitt, H.
