MORE BELMONT PARK IMPROVEMENTS NEW YORK, N. Y., October 31. Superintendent H. I. Pels of Belmont Park is hard at work remaking a portion of the training course from the mile post to the five-eighths post. This three-eighth section of the practice track is being rebuilt from the foundation. The old earth has been removed, a new foundation laid and fresh soil placed for a new surface. Meantime the yearlings and other horses in training at Belmont Park are being galloped on the main track. The five-eighths chute has been boarded up and is not in use at present.
