SWIFTCRICKET was a forward contender throughout and held on well in the final drive. LITTLE LESS tired in the final sixteenth after racing into a long lead. PLOW STEEL began slowly. SHE DEAlL raced close up to the turn for home, then dropped back, but came again near the end. SENTIMENTAL followed MACK GARNER closely until straightened out in the stretch, then moved up gamely on the outside and outstayed MACK GARNER in tins final drive, but was disqualified for being short of weight. MACK GARNER displayed the most speed from- the start and held on resolutely in tiie final drive. THE DESERT moved up rapidly on the inside after entering the stretch and finished gamely.
