UNCLE BERT, under a good ride, raced into the lead quickly and, setting a fast pace to the stretch, outstayed ROYAti DICK and won going away. The latter raced in closest pursuit all the way and finished gamely. APPROVAL, ran a good race and finished fast. MOM ran well. ED GARRISON finished gamely. BIRDIE G. lacked her customary high early speed, but closed a gap in the stretch. GRASS MAID came fast through the last eighth when hard ridden. SWEET LADY set a fast pace, but tired after showing the most speed to the stretch. WHITLEATnER raced forwardly and will improve.
