Won easily; second and third driving. HONOR MAN began fast and, racing in his best form, was kept close up in the early running and, taking the lead in the stretch, drew away in the last sixteenth. CARNARVON showed the most speed and. setting the pace fast, failed to bolt, as is his custom, in the stretch. GROUND -SWELL ran a. disappointing race and was ridden wide into the stretch. Won easily; second and third driving. PUT AND TAKE, under a good ride, was rushed into the lead at once and, setting a great pace, won in a canter. PRESTOLITE raced in closest pursuit for the entire race, but just lasted to save second place. GRASS MAID came wide on the stretch turn, but finished fast and would have been second in another stride. HESKILUNA closed an immense gap in the stretch. PERMARCO finished well. DULCY tired. SWEET LADY dropped completely out of contention after going three-eighths. SWEET COOKIE was always far back.
