DAIRYMAN, close up from the start, moved up with a rush at the head of the homestretch and raced into an easy lead. BLACK BARY closed a gap and finished fast on the outside. MESS KIT rau well and was weakly ridden through the last eighth. SIR GALAHAD II. finished close up next to the inside rail and was in close quarters at the end. BAR ran well. PITTSBURG quit. Won driving; second and third the same. DARK HILL set the pace to the far turn and. after being passed, came again in the stretch drive and outgamed CHARLES J. CRAIGMILE in a close finish. The latter raced into a long lead after rounding the far turn, but tired badly in the final drive. PURL was cut off by ROISTERER a couple of times on the backstretch, but outgamed the latter for third place. ROISTERER showed improvement and raced well. DUKE RUFF quit.
