, 1 1 THORNCLIFFES FINE AUTUMN MEETING J i The second and final meeting of the year at Thorncliffe Park, near Toronto, Ont., came to an end Saturday, September 16, after the usual seven days of racing, during which time forty-nine races were run and 4,000 distributed in purses for a daily average of ,714. Of the owners participating in the racing J the Kenton Stable won the most money, c ,900, A. E. Alexandra coming next on the j list with ,600. Fair Gain was the most 1 successful among the horses, with ,000 won 1 to show for his endeavors on the track. The outstanding feature of the meeting was the brilliant riding of M. Fator. This 1 younger brother of a family of noted riders J bids fair to surpass them all.
