ARRIVALS AT WOODBINE PARK J. S. Cosden String Reaches Toronto Cup Candidates in Work-Outs. TORONTO, Ont, September 18. The J. S. Cosden string of horses from New York for the Ontario Jockey Club meeting, which opens "Wednesday, arrived today and include the two-year-olds Doughoregan and Jig Step, the steeplechasers Bullseye and Hallavill, Roulette and the three-year-old Good Times. They were galloped on the track at "Woodbine three-quarters in 1:17. Snob II. and Blazes, the Cup candidates, were not in the consignment. R. T. "Wilson has decided not to send Pillory to Toronto, but the Idle Hour Stock Farm is expected to ship Bit of White and the Rancocas Stable will ship Thunderclap to start in the 5,000 added race on the opening day. Old Exterminator got his final preparation at "Woodbine for the Cup race, working the mile and a quarter in 2 :12, the last quarter in 25. He will likely start favorite for the event. Golden Sphere, the Seagram hope, working with Brilliant Jester, showed a fast work, a mile in 1 :42 and the mile and a quarter in 2 :0D. Bulldog Drummond and Parisian Diamond worked the -distance in 2 :12. Boniface, from the Ross Stable, worked a mile and an eighth in 1:56 with Finery, Boniface going the first mile in 1 :42. Baby Grand went a mile in 1 :43. Eleanor S., another Cup candidate, worked a mile in 1:43. Over sixty jumpers schooled in the field today and there should be some of the finest steeplechasing in years at the meeting which opens tomorrow.
