BELMONT PARK RACING Total of 22,525 Distributed in Stakes and Purses. Rancocas Stable and W. S. Kilmer Largest Winners Complete Statistics of the Meeting. ! Marked by the decision of the famous Futurity, the Lawrence Realization and other noted American stake races, the Westchester Racing Associations fall meeting at Belmont Park was an immense success both from a racing and financial standpoint. During the thirteen days of racing the imposing sum of 22,525, a daily average of 7,117 was distributed in stakes and purses. Great crowds were in daily attendance and the enthusiasm so pronounced at the early spring meeting was again in evidence. Spirited and well-contested racing between the outstanding stars of the turf gave the sport tone and quality in keeping with the surroundings of Americas most palatial racing grounds. Fast time was a distinctive feature of the races, fulfilling the early forecasts that Belmont Park track would be exceedingly fast for the autumn racing. While W. S. Kilmer won the biggest monetary prize of the meeting, the Futurity, it was not enough to wrest the leadership from the Rancocas Stable. The latter establishment won six races, finished second in five and third in seven, accounting for 0,559 to the 9,400 to the credit of W. S. Kilmer. The Greentree Stable continued on its winning way and added 0,410 to its earnings for the year. The owners who won 00 or more each were as follows: Owner. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt.
