Won ridden out; second and third driving. LITTLE HOPE, off forwardly, followed the leader under slight restraint until midway of the stretch when she took .the lead, but tired in the final strides. ADVENTURESS set a good pace and saving ground on the turns finished resolutely when challenged. POOR SPORT was prominent from the start and, finishing gamely, was going fastest of all at the end. BELPHRIZONIA closed a big gap and finished close up. RACKET ran well and had a clear course for the entire race. WINNER TAKE ALL and BELLE OF BLUE RIDGE finished well. HILLHOUSE was eased up at the end. GENERAL THATCHER followed the early leaders trader restraint until In the final eighth, the passed OSPREY and won casing up. OSPREY worked his way up on the inside in the early running, and took the lead after entering the stretch, but could not withstand the winners chaUeage. VIGIL began slowly, but gradually improved his position and, saving ground when entering the stretch, outfinished BEST LOVE. The latter raced forwardly all the way and finished gamely, but tired in the final sixteenth. MOONRAKER showed a good order of speed at the early running, but was bumped in the stretch and thrown off his stride. MARIE BLANCHE closed a big gap. FRANK G. rushed into the lead and set a fast early pace, but tired badly after going five-eighths and was cased up when beaten. DAN H. OSULLIVAN was not persevered with. OPPERMAN, off forwardly, was taken under restraint and followed the leaders closely until la the final eighth, where he took the lead and held PADDLE safe in the final drive. PADDLE- moved up fast on the backstrctch and, racing into the lead on the stretch turn, made a game finish. ALL OVER rushed into the lead and set the pace to the far turn and outfinished ATHELSTAN in the final drive. The latter was hard ridden from the start, but could not improve his position. DUNCECAP met with slight interference, but finished fast and gamely on the extreme outside. PEGASUS raced poorly. BUNGA BUCK was always a forward contender and, finishing fast and gamely, was overtaking the leaders at the end. HEPHAIST03 ran a good race and finished close up. BLAZES met with interference at the start and closed a gap, CAREFUL raced under slight restraint for three-quarters, but did not respond wlren called on after entering the stretch. CAPTAIN ALCOCK was shuffled back on the first turn. TIPPITY WITCHET closed a big gap and tired. SURF RIDER tired and was eased up.
