, I j i : STATISTICS OF MARLBORO The fortunate selection of racing dates at a time when there was no other racing in Maryland gave the Southern Maryland Agricultural Fair Association a clear field, with the result that the meeting at Marlboro from November 13 to November 17 proved to be the most successful in the history of that organization. Many horsemen who never before patronized any of the minor tracks sent representatives to Marlboro and on the whole the racing was interesting and pleasing to the surprisingly big crowds that were seen daily at the half-mile trade The following are the winners and other details of the five days of racing: R. F. Carmen won the largest number of races and most money among the owners participating, of which the following Avon 00 or more each: Owner. 1st." 2d. 3d. Amt. Carman. R.
