ILLINOIS JOCKEY CLUB TO MEET NEXT WEEK Secretary Thomas E. Bourke of the Ilr linois Jockey Club announced Saturday morning that a meeting of the club officials would be called early next week for the purpose of completing plans for the construction work at Hawthorne Park. Several matters of importance will be discussed at this time, among which is the probable change of dates for the spring meeting. Just wliat day will be decided upon for the opening cannot definitely be stated at present. However, an effort will be made to select dates which will not conflict with other near-by meetings.
