J. J. McCAFFERTY AT HAVANA HAVANA, Cuba, November 20. J. J. Mc-Cafferty, who has been riding and training horses for over a quarter of a century, and who has raced at Oriental Park since the track was first opened, will begin the season with a stable of eight horses, of which five are Cuban-breds, and the property of Senor Julio Gomez, owner of the Rosario sugar mill. The Gomez horses will be raced in the name of the Rosario Stable. They include the three-year-old Fasenda, the two-year-olds Relox and Aguacate, and a couple of yearlings that have been given the names of Ponce and Liborio. McCafferty also has the five-year-old gelding J. Alfred Clark, which will carry the colors of J. J. Woolf, and the five-year-old Ballot Bittra stallion Vice-Chairman, which will race in McCaffertys own colors.
