LATEST KENTUCKY GOSSIP LEXINGTON, Ky., November 20. J. C. Milam has sold to A. Morgan, former jockey, of Covington, the following yearlings: Bay colt, by The Manager Fragrance, by Gree-nan; brown colt, by Delhi Tempt, by Dick Finnell; bay filly, by Colonel Vennie-Mar-garet Kent, by Plaudit. Thomas Piatt has shipped to Ed Trotter two horses, Wyoming and Brunswick, the property of W. Kirk Harrington, to go into winter quarters at Churchill Downs, Louisville. Emil Herz, who has been at Short Grass Stud Farm for several rays, left here Sunday morning for New York to meet his wife, who is coming from Europe to spend the winter with him at the farm here. John O. Whitlow stated that he has abandoned his plan to ship his string to New Orleans for the winter and will remain her. Hal Price Hcadley upon his return from a hunting trip said that he had decided to point his good colt Hopeless for the Kentucky Derby. The colt is quartered with others at Beaumont Farm and is doing splendidly. Edward Cebrian and Julio Jorrin, his guest from Havana, motored over to Louisville to see the Cebrian and Lo-wc horses prior to their shipment to Havana. The mares George D. Widener has at Hi-nata Farm in charge of William King are: At Once, Cutana, Corpuscule. Duekshot. Farce, Gipsy Hill, MessIina, Sanberia, all imported; and Feminist, Mile. Dazie, Plagany and Star of Danube.
