CHIEF LALLY WINS AT SHOW Takes Blue Ribbon in Class A Thoroughbred Competition at Squadron A Armory. Chief Lally, bay horse, 7, by King James Rosslare, which James MacManus recently sold to the United States Remount Service, took the blue ribbon in the Class A. competition for thoroughbreds at the National Horse Show in fjquadron A armory Friday morning. There were only three contestants. General Howard S. Bordens Lord Rock Sand, ten-year-old bay horse by Rock Sand Lady Violet, took second honors and the red ribbon and Cock o the North, six-year-old son of Hamburg and Braw Lass, was third. Chief Lally and Cock o the North were both exhibited by Troop K. of the state constabulary, which maintains a breeding station at White Plains under the auspices o the breeding bureau of the Jockey Club. First prize was 0 and second prize 5. John E. Madden acted as judge in the competition for Class A honors and also judged several other classes during the day.
