THANKSGIVING NOMINATIONS Formidable Array of Handicap Stars in Bowie Closing Stake. Doubled Talno of Feature Race Attracts Forty-Nine Three-Year-Olds and Over for Mile and Quarter Contest BOWIE, Md., November 20. The 100 per cent increase in the value of the Thanksgiving1 Handicap, to be decided at the Bowie course closing day, makes this now 0,000 added stake the richest prize for three-year-olds and over offered by the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association. A formidable array of seasoned handicap horses are among the fifty-nine named for the contest. Including Mrs. H. Dattaers Bunga Buck, winner of last years renewal.
