VETERAN OF VETERANS TO RACE AT ORIENTAL PARK HAVANA, Cuba, November 20. After a summer campaign on the smaller tracks in West Virginia and Ohio, the veteran Tom Cheek, reputed to be 95 years of age, has letnrned to Oriental Park with his small string, comprising Major Domo, Red, Al Hurson and Virginia Cheek. Mr. Cheek has been racing at the local track since the first year, and last spring was the first time he had left Cuba in eight years. His trip proved to be profitable, for his small stable more than paid expenses. Mr. Cheek, undoubtedly the oldest turfman on the western hemisphere, is in the enjoyment of good health and always attends to the training of his own horses. He says he has had enough traveling, and will remain in Cuba for the rest of his life.
