HOUYHNHNMS NAME MISSING It has been suggested by a London paper that in fairness bookmakers in England should be consulted as to the fitness of horses names before they are adopted by owners. Relative to this the Sporting Life says: "There are times when ones sympathies go out to members of the ring, and at Nottingham was no exception, when more than one layer got tied up over Anadyomene, which won the Great Midland Breeders Plate. Mr. Anthony de Rothschilds filly proved a rare tongue twister, and from Anno Domini Col-wick Parle was converted into a Garden of Eden, with odds laid against Adam and Eve. Still, those names answered the purpose. Surely it would be a sorry day if Bhuidhao-nach, Suryaktimari and Anadyomene were opposed to each other." 1 - 1
