GENERAL THATCHER THRIVES A letter received from trainer Preston Burch who is wintering the Nevada Stock Farm string at the Benning track states that the majority of his horses have enjoyed good health and that General Thatcher his three yearold hope promises unusually well Gen ¬ eral Thatcher has grown until lie tips the beam at 1115 pounds and has filled out in all directions He will probably be the sta ¬ bles main reliance in the big threeyearold events of the spring season
