BUYS TWO HORSES IN CUBA CUBAHAVANA HAVANA Cuba January 31 Acting for George M Hendrie the Canadian turfman Harry Van Ry bought from J D Millin the horses WedgwodO and Celtic Lass The prices were not disclosed Both are well bred Wedgwood is by Ballot Majolica while Celtic Lass is a fouryearold filly by Celt Clam Atkins They are both intended for breeding purposes and at the end of the meeting will be shipped to Mr Hendries breeding farm near Hamilton Ontario
