BLUE HAWK, away quickly, set a fast pace from the start and won in a canter. SUPERLATIVE, way slowly,- worked his way up on the outside and outgamed THE LAMB in the final drive. Won driving; second and third the same. BOSS JOHN jumped well and was saved under a pull in the early racing, then responded When called on, taking the lead, and was going away at the finish. SEA MASTER was close up all the way and outfinished LETTERMAN in the final drive. The latter blundered at several of the jumps nd also lost ground by going wide, but finished with a rush. WHETSTONE began slowly and was forced to work her way up on the outside, but came fast after entering the homestretch and, passing the leaders midway of the stretch, won easing up. ELSBETH set a good pace to the stretch, but tired when challenged. GRACEFUL CARRIE raced well throughout. PRISCILLA RULEY tired in the final drive. .BLACK ART ran fairly well. SILK TASSEL raced into the lead soon after the start and set a fast early pace, came wide when entering the homestretch and lost ground, but was going away at the end. HILDUR moved up with a rush on the inside after going three-eighths and, ccming on the outside of the winner at the head of the stretch, was forced wide when the winnr ran out and finvihed fast on the outside. REPARATION came through fast on the inside and outgamed COMIXA in the closing strides. The latter forced a terrific pace and quit, OFF COLOR ran a good race. rT A A fZQ. FirTH RACE 3-4 Mile. SARAZEN. after racing in clrsc pursuit of SUNNY SAL under restraint, tcok the lead with a rush after rounding the turn out into the stretch and was under rcstiaint again all of the last eighth. MOON STAR closed up resolutely in the last half, but tired and just lasted to outfinish AGA KUAN. The latter, after being last in the early racing, came on the outside and finished with a belated rush. MISS WHISK ran well, but tiicd from her early fast racing.
