CUBAN SITUATION BRIGHT Encouraging Reports from "Pearl of the Antilles" Forecast Successful Winter Meeting. BALTIMORE, Md., Oct 13. Frank J. Bruen is on his way North from Cuba and will bo in Cincinnati some day next week. Reports that have been sent up from the "Pearl of the Antilles" are encouraging and everyone is predicting the most successful meeting in the history of racing at Oriental Park. Cuba has passed through its crisis and money is reported as being plentiful on the island once again. Sidney Bender, who is looking after the transportation of the horses, has arranged for a special of five cars to leave the Empire City track Nov. 2. Three cars will leave Laurel the same day and will join the New York consignment at Washington. A Pullman and coach will be attached to these eight cars at Washington and the train will be run through as a special here to New York to witness the running of the International match at Belmont Parle
