Start good and slow for all but MARTHA FALLON. Won easiiy; second and third driving. SYMPATHY began well and was saved in closest pursuit for the first three-eighths, then raced into the lead in the stretch to win easing up. EASTER BELLS showed the most early speed and set an extremely fast pace, but gave way when challenged. CENTIMETER raced sluggishly for most of the race, but was going well at the end under hard riding. MARTHA FALLON refused to start and was practically left at the post. PETER MALONEY moved up rapidly in the stretch and. finishing gamely, got up to win in the last stride. NEW GOLD closed a big gap into the lead and only gave way in the last stride. NELL McCHORD came fast through the last eighth and finished gamely. BROOKDALE gave way suddnely in the stretch after showing fine speed in pacemaking. LADY LONGRIDGE was always outrun. PHIL McCANN retired after going well for three-eighths. SUN SPOT began slowly and closed a big gap. Won easily; second and third driving. BOSH was saved close up to the last turn, then moved up steadily into the lead and won going away. WILD LIFE, far back in the early running, was ridden wide into the stretch, but finished fast and gamely and got up in the last stride for second place. LITTLE HOPE, hard ridden from the start, raced well, but began tiring near the end. UNTRIED came in front of the others on the first turn and raced into a good lend, but tiled after gcing three-quarters. LONGBOAT ran below his true form and was done after going a half mile. MISTRESS MARY was forced back sharply on the first turn. CASH began slowly and closed a big gap. The latter ran a fine race throughout and enly succumbed in the last stride, after having held the lead briefly. SANOLA also ran an excellent race and came fast through the stretch. STAGE COACH tired slightly. KING GORIN II. was going well at the end. DARE SAY closed a big gap. BEFUDDLE and BOB CAHILL were always outrun. CLARENCE ran a fast half and quit. The latter werked her way up steadily from a slow beginning and was going fastest at the end. SWEETHEART ran well, but was in close quarters through the stretch and began i tiring in the last sixteenth. HEREMON came from far back in the stretch drive. FAIR PHANTOM tired 1 after running a fast half mile. CHO CHO was always outrun. WHISKAWAY sulked. GREAT JAZ tired. , ALICE BLUE GOWN closed a gap. LADY ASTOR was taken back repeatedly, but finally came with a rush through the stretch. MAKE UP ran well, but tired and just lasted to save third place. WIDA closed a gap and finished fast and close up. PRECIOUS LULA never had a chance to race without being interfered with. WHO KNOWS ME quit. IS0SCELE3 tired in the stretch. KINDRED ran fairly well. SUNNY DUCROW tired. BLANCHE MAC was badly outrun.
