PARVENU set a fast early pace, tat tired in the stretch. ROYAL MISS, under hard riding, finished gamely and outstayed CLARICE C. II. In the final drive. TRITE rushed into the lead and, setting a moderate pace to the stretch, made a game finish. POTENTILLA raced under restraint in th early running, but closed a gap and finished fast. BESSIE LEIGHTON had no mishaps. RED LEGS tired in the last quarter. BRAVO was kicked ou the foreleg by BESSIE LEIGHTON while at the post and so badly lamed he was pulled up in the first eighth. BRACADALE set a fast early pace, then raced in closest pursuit of NELLIE MORSE and suffered from interference when she came wide when entering the stretch and tired in front of him, then came again in the last eighth and would have won in a few more strides. SUN PAL began flat-fcoted and was rushed up to the leaders, but was forced extremely wide on the last turn and lost ground. SHERIDAN, in close quarters through the stretch, finished resolutely. NELLIE MORSE raced into the lead and set a fast pace to the last eighth, then tired. EAGLET was closing up through the stretch to the sixteenth post, where he was forced back, then was eased up in the closing strides. Scratched 74553 Lucky Play, 112. DOCTOR WHITEHURST, off very slowly, closed an immense gap in the first three-quarters, then tired. MISS BELLE quit badly.
