SALE OF WISE COUNSELLOR FOR 6,000. LATONIA, Ky., Oct 17. Negotiations begun October 3 for the transfer of the crack two-year-old Wise Counsellor by J. S. Ward is still pending, but has virtually been completed, only a few minor details being lacking for the complete consummation of the sale. The purchase price is said to be 566,000. The colt is still in charge of trainer A. Baker, who has been handling him since his advent on the turf. Originally the youngster was secured by T. C. Bradley, mayor of Lexington, and General Manager of the Kentucky Association track, when he bought his dam, Rustle; which had been bred to Mentor. At one of the Lexington sales Mr. Bradley secured Rustle for the insignificant sum of 00. Subsequently Mayor Bradley turned over a half interest in Wise Counsellor to his brother, Doctor Bradley. According to advices, Mr. Ward when he takes the colt over will get him ready for the Queen City Handicap, which will have an approximate value of 0,000 to the winner, and the-Jockey Club Stakes, to be run at Louisville, which also will have a value of like amount
