Won easily; second and third driving. ERLANGER worked his way up on the outside frcm the far turn and, racing into the lead after entering the stretch, won going away. GRANDE DAME raced prominently next to the inner rail and finished gamely. PETE FOY came frcm a .long way back and finished fast. GREEN BRIAR ran well, but tired in the last eighth. BONA VERA was ridden wide on the last turn, but came fast and gamely in the stretch under hard riding. ROLLING WAVE raced forwardly for the entire way and only tired in the last sixteenth. PEGGY O., also ridden wide on the turns, closed a gap in the last quarter. GOLDEN CUP began tiring in the stretch. BALDINE was going well at the end. Won driving; second and third the same. WINNER TAKE ALL began somewhat slowly, but moved up steadily under good riding and gained in the last eighth, but had to do her utmost to outstay TULALIP. The latter was best and showing the most speed, was winning when her rider became rattled and lost in the last few strides. GREEN GOLD set a good pace to the last turn and tired. HUEN raced prominently all the way. LARCHMONT was badly outrun. THE LEOPARD tired in the stretch. METRIC was taken back and given a breathing spelL after setting the pace for U half mile, then saved ground on the last turn and, standing a hard drive through the stretch, got up to win in the last stride, but finished badly lamed. LORD GRANITE moved up fast after a half mile and took the lead, but succumbed in the last few strides under weak riding. WIDGEON tired after racing into a brief lead. CERTAIN showed the Biost speed .and, making the pace fast, finished gamely, but tiring. IN MEMORIAM was forced back in be first quarter and came fast through the stretch.
