PIMLICOS FALL MEETING Maryland Jockey Club Distributed 54,830 in Stakes and Purses. . R. Bradley and His Bean Bntler At the Largest Winners McAtee Leads the Jockeys. Another brilliant fall meeting: passed into history when famous old Pimlico closed its gates Monday, November 12, after twelve days of sparkling and highly interesting racing. The ever progressive Maryland Jockey Club distributed a total of 54,830 in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution reaching the high figure of 1,235. As was to be expected with such a great array of valuable stake events and generously endowed overnight races, the best horses in the country were attracted to Pimlico and the patrons of that popular course were enter-jtained with as high class sport as was witnessed anywhere. E. R. Bradley, master of Idle Hour Farm, lias found Pimlico a fertile field of turf en-tieavor. Last year he won one division of the Pimlico Futurity with Blossom Time. Encouraged by that success he . tried for the same stake this fall and had the pleasure of f seeing his colors again carried to victory, this time by Beau Butler. As a result Mr. Bradley tops the list of winning owners for the meeting, with 4,480 to his credit J. S. Cosden, Rancocas Stable, Kenton Stable, F. E. Brown, H. P. Whitney and F. Musante were others who figured importantly during the twelve days of racing. Beau Butlers success in the Pimlico Futurity, of course, places him at the head of the money-winning horses, as that was the richest stake offered in Maryland this fall. Hephaistos, Senator Norris, Stanwix, Dan IV., My Dear and Rustic were also large winners. "VV. Garth carried off the training honors and L. McAtee was the most successful of the jockeys, riding thirteen winners. The following owners won 00 or more each : wJlcr- , 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt. Idle Hour Bi Stock Farm Stable.. 1 1 1 4 480 Cosden, J.
