HONOLULU RACERS IN ACTION Several horses from Honolulu are taking part in the Tanforan racing. One of them, Kauila, ran second to Bayonet in the second race of November 9. Kauila means "Heavenly Skies" in Hawaiian, and it should have been a good hunch, as it was a perfect afternoon of sunshine and bright skies. Kauila was sired in the islands at the Parker ranch by the Kentucky horse Gold Oak, a son of Gold Heels and Jane Oaker, by Hanover.
