HUGHES GRAHAM began somewhat slowly, but raced into the lead before reaching the stretch and held the weakly ridden FINDAY safe through the last sixteenth. FINDAY was taken back sharply on the last turn and given an inferior ride. MACBETH ran well and was hard ridden in the stretch. YOUNEED set a good pace, but tired after leading for a half mile. GREEN BRIAR, ciosc up from the start, raced into the lead and only tired slightly near the end. LEONTES set a good pace to the far turn, but tired in the stretch. Won driving; second and third the same. BREECHLOADER began slowly and moved up rapidly throughout the stretch, but tired near the end and had to be ridden hard to outstay NORSELAND. The latter came from far back in the last quarter and finished with a rush. BOOTS AND SHOES raced fonvardly for the entire way. BAMRA ran well to the last eighth and tired. MIDNIGHT FOLLIES set a fast pace to the eighth. BENCH MANAGER almost fell in the last sixteenth. MEDINA was cased up in the last eighth. The latter was best and would have won had she been able to get a clear course at any time in the last three-eighths. OO LA LA raced well, finished gamely, and had no mishaps. BROTHERLY LOVE closed a gap in the last half. RESTING TIME quit. GOLDEN BILLOWS set .1 good pace to the stretch, but failed to stay the route and quit badly. Overweights Paris Maid, 1 pounds.
