HINDOOS SIRE PLOW HORSE Virgil, son of Vandal and grandson of Glencoe, Avas not unfamiliar Avith a double shovel plow thirty odd years ago, before he Avas finally put in the stud to get the Immortal Hindoo, he the sire of the celebrated Hanover and founder of the strongest line of American thoroughbreds the country saAV before Commandos time. And Virgil Avas an amiable and efficient plow horse. He could, in fact, perform any domestic task not aboAe the Aveight of an 1,100-pound horse, considerably better than could any other farm horse of his day in Kentucky.
