Won driving; second and roi third the same. TKLKSCOPK, away forwardly and racing prominently from the start, finished gamely in the stretch and outstayed AMITY CLAIM in the last rc?enty yards. The latter fell in a false breakaway and galloped riderless at good speed for half a mile, had much the best of the start and showed good speed, hut tired slightly near the end. JUNO came fast in the stretch. QUIVERO was poorly 1 ridden. ISLACKOLIA -was away, poorly and was far out of it to the stretch, -where he finished fast. DUSTABOUT was forced back at the first turn, but gained steadily thereafter, and wore down WAPITI in the last eighth to win drawing clear. WAPITI began quickly and raced away into a gcod 1 lead in the first quarter, but tired steadily in the stretch and was lucky to get second place. BRUNELL 1 was repeatedly taken back and forced off his stride by his incompetent rider; would have been a . strong factor with a good ride. RAFFLES had no mishaps. FANTOCHE will improve. WESTWDOOD was done after going three-quarters. THE PERUVIAN showed a dull performance.
