WELL-KNOWN VETERAN DEAD George Wingfield, father of Robert and; George, Jr., old-time riders and employed at the Fair Grounds, died at a New Orleans hospital Monday morning. Death Avas due to a complication of diseases. The deceased at one time Avas regarded as one of the best board markers in the country and for the greater part of the Avinter Avas associated Avith "Doc" Asliby, race track photographer.
