DECAZES IS MUCH BETTER French Turfman Recovering from Long Illness Has Forty-two Juveniles. SPECIAL CORRESPONDENCE. PARIS, France, March 7. The Due De-cazes is back after a winter in Italy. He is, of course, much better, but is going to Dax in the Midi to take a cure in the mud baths there for rheumatism. He told me he had forty-two young horses in training. These include those of his own breeding, ones that- Jean Lieux bred, and the ones that were bought at the Deauville sales in partnership with Lieux. The general gossip at Maisons-Laffitte is that the Decazes horses were put through their paces last fall, and put through hard. The Due told me he thought he had some runners. Jean Lieux bought good looking yearlings for the combination at the sales last season.
