E. F. WHITNEY STRING REACHES PIMLICO BALTIMORE, Md., March 22. William Irvine arrived at Pimlico today with fifteen horses, the property of Edward F. Whitney, including his Preakness candidate Suppliant and- his Oaks candidate Ebb Tide ; also his licet sprinters Mainmast and Heeltaps, both eligibles to the Jennings Handicap, to be run at Pimlico May 1, distance three-quarters of a mile. He has nine juveniles in the string, all eligible to the Pimlico Nursery and Spring Juvenile. Three of them are colts and six are fillies.
