Conjuror II. has replaced Silvo as future favoritie for the Grand National Steeplechase, which will be decided over the Aintree course, Liverpool, next Friday. He is now quoted at 11 to 2. Silvo is at 9 to 1. Shaun Spadah, which won the big race in 1921, is quoted at 100 to 6.. Music Hall, winner in 1922, is now at 20 to 1, and Stephen Sanfords Sergeant Murphy, which won the race last year, is at 20 to 1. The Aintree course is the most difficult in the world. The fences are higher than at any other steeplechase course and the distance of the Grand National, even without these obstacles, is great enough to test the stamina of the best cross-country horses. Conjuror II. has impressed the experts with his jumping in recent races, while Silvos performances have been disappointing. Sergeant Murphy has done nothing yet to indi-i cate a return to the form which gave him the victory last year and support for him has I decreased during recent days. I
