BONERO BLUE was pulled up at the start when JAMIMA crossed over and swerved right against her. hut closed a big gap into the lead and drew away in the last eighth to win in a canter. JAMIMA began sideways, but raced well and outgaincd GILDER in the final drive. The latter set the pace to the stretch, but gave way when challenged. SMITH finished well. AL THOMAS was on the outside for the entire race and finished with a rush. PAT HAMPSON raced well and outgamed ALAZON at the end. The latter forced the pace, but raced wide on all the turns and lost grrund, then came again at the end. EYE BRIGHT tired after racing into a long stretch lead. RIVERSIDE quit in the last quarter.
