SEA TIDE began slowly and was in close quarters to the last turn but slipped through on t,he inside in the stretch and. passing the leaders, won going away. CANDY STICK ran ■ good race from the start and was forced wide when entering the stretch, but tired after taking the had. QIFSI FLYER broke slowly, but finished fast. TARRAYCE C. raced HELEN CONDON into defeat and finished well. MAK.IORIE ran well all the way. BRIGHT IDEA wheeled at the start ■nd was left at the post. HELEN CONDON set the pace briefly and quit. MISSIONARY, away in a tangle, was kept 111 tlii deepest going next to the inner rail throughout under a bad ride and moved up menacingly at the eighth, but tired from bis early efforts. ST. AI.EX WOODLIFFE. set a fast pace from th«* start, saved ground on all the turns, and gamely withstood the rush of STAMlDALE. The latter, away well, moved up on the outside after entering the stretch, hut swerved out all throrgh the final eighth. BILL DWYER closed a big gap and out-finished I.OIDLAND at the end. TANGERINE began slowly, but gained steadily when called on and finished fast and gamely. ANNE set a good pace and raced GOLDFIELI into defeat, but tired in the stretch drive. •AM. IN ALL showed early speed, but was done after going three-quarters. FAIRLIOHT was as good as left and closed a big gap. DOLLY OAFFNFY closed up with a rush in the stretch and outfinished RADIANCY. The latter showed much speed, lmt tired after passing VDLCAIN QUEEN and taking the lead. The latter showed early speed and was not persevered with when she tired. BRIONY refused to start. Scratched— 73416 Repartee, 118.
