TO MEET AGAIN ON MAY 15 Horse Association Scheduled Annual Meeting Deferred to That Date. LEXINGTON. Ky.. May 1.— The annual meeting of the Thoroughbred Horse Asso- ciation was held last night, beginning at 8| oclock, in the Phoenix Hotel, but was not completed because of the absence of president E. It. Bradley and a quorum of the di- rectors and was adjourned until the evening of May 15 at the Seelbach Hotel in Louisville. Attorney Wallace Ifuir, who. accompanied by attorney Cny A. Huguelet, represented the shippers of race horses, Iwth running and] trotting, at the bearing before the Interstate Commerce Commission in Washington last Monday, was present and made a very interesting repoit. A resolution expressing appreciation of major C. S. Reynolds, head of the Remount Service in this section, and regretting that lie is to be transferred to other activities j at Washington was adopted with tie expres-i sion of hope; that the War Department might see fit to rescind the orders and leave him in this field.
