Hildreth has decided upon the three-year-olds that are to carry the white and green of the Rancocas Stable in this years renewal I j of. the rich Preakness stakes, to be run at historic Pimlico next Monday. Mad Play, ! i the son of Fair Play — Lady Madcap that showed such a brilliant effort behind his illustrious stablemate Zev in the running of , the Kings County Handicap last Saturday at Jamaica is to be the main reliance, while Bracadale is to be the second string to the bow. The Choice was reached yesterday afternoon by trainer Hildreth. The two candidates will be shipped to Pimlico Friday and will have sufficient time to recover from the train ride. Jockeys Karl Sande and R. Fator will proce d to Baltimore and have the mounts. Sande is slated to ride Mad Play. On the strength of the pair in the running of the Preakness. the selection for the Kentucky Derby will hang.
