Jones, trainer Spence has re-| - quested Harned Brothers and Jones to put t a price on Glide and the two-year-old colt t Special. They set a valuation of »fi. 00 on i the pair, of which S40.000 is to be paid at the time of transfer and ,000 out of the e two first stakes that Glide wins. Spence has s notified the Messrs. Jones of the conditions s and in all probability .the sale will be consummated - in a short time. The sale of both horses will be hastened because of the in-, tention of their owners to retire from racing, ;, and with that object in view the entire stable e of horses will be disposed of at public auc-tion - in the atonia paddock at an early date.
