GEORGE IK MAR ran well in the going and was forced back before reaching the first tuin, but gained steadily after racing wide into the stretch and w re KIBLAI KHAN down in the last twenty yards to win drawing clear. KUBLAI KHAN raced into the lead with a rush and set a good pace, but tired slightly near the end. SON OF TROMP. far back in the early racing, finished well. SAAR was far back all the way.
