ON ROAD TO RECOVERY 1 CINCINNATI, Ohio, June 9.— Jockey Ivan Parke, operated upon for appendicitis last week, continues to show improvement, according to his physician. Dr. J. B. Miller. The young riding star is entirely out of danger, according to hospital authorities. It was not stated exactly what day the lad will be permitted to leave the institution and return to his residence. Parke is rapidly regaining his health. Sunday and Monday his room was crowded with racing friends who wished the young man rapid recovery. The latter part of the week may find Dr. Miller approving his discharge from the institution.
