Won driving; second and third the same. WHETSTONE, away forwardly. showed a good order of speed throughout aud, saving ground on the stretch turn, outgamed BEST BELOVED in the final drive. The latter crossed over sharply shortly after the start and caused a jam. then showed the most speed and swung wide on the stretch turn and finished gamely, but tiring. NANCY LANGHORNE met with early interference, but closed a gap and finished with a rush. MARGIN raced well to the strelch turn nnd tired when called on. EAGERNESS raced well. SUNNY SAL was ciowded against the fence shortly after the start and was forced to pull up. Scratched— 77966 Sue Donovan, 101; 7S693 Moon Dream, 101; 80299 Defiant, 117. Won easily; second and third driving. BECK set and foreed a good pace thiongl-.out and, jumping well, moved rp when going to the final jump and, passing ST. LAWRENCE, was going away at the end. ST. LAWRENCE sieved high speed frcm the start and drew away into an easy lead, but tired badly in the final half mile. PECCANT jumped and raced forwardly from the start. VOX POPULI II. had no mishaps. Won easily; second and third driving. BLIND PLAY was saved close up to the last turn, then closed up gradually after rounding the turn and, passing SUN RAJAH into the lead, won easing up. RESOLUTION began slowly and came with a belated rush in the final eighth. DONNELLY followed the eaily leader in closest pursuit and, after coming wide on the outside on the stretch turn, made a game finish. CHECK had no mishaps. HULLABALOO giadually improved his position and came on the outside in the stretch turn, then came fast into the lead, but swerved in front of the leaders, causing DOMINIQUE to be taken up, and was disqualified. SILK TASSEL ran a good race, but was clear of interference all the way. DOMINIQUE was closing steadily when he was interfered with. SUNCAU closed a gap resolutely. AMOR PATRIAE showed high speed in pacemaking, but was tiring at the finish. BANTER quit. SUB DONOVAN refused to start. The latter set a fast early pace and tired near the end. SUMMER TIME ran well and finished gamely. DON JACK £ closed up some ground. SLICE and HALF PINT bolted at the start and had no chance.
