At post 1 minute. Start good and slow. Won easily;, second and third driving. MYRTLE BELLE, helped by the going, set a fast pace from the start and, racing into a long lead, won in a canter. THEO FAY raced in closest pursuit of the winner and easily held second place f.afe. ADRIANOPLE saved ground on all the turns and finished resolutely. MISS BABE ran well, but tired badly in the final eighth. FUO closed up ground from a slow beginning. SEAMAN was away slowly. CONFLVENTE was always outrun. Scratched 82012Travers, 110; 81575JWilbnr C. PURITY showed a good order of speed and had the winner doing his best at the end. Won easily; second and third driving. DEFIANT, close up from the start, slipped through on the inside on the stretch turn and, passing LEATHERWOOD into the lead, won easing up. YANKEE PRINCESS dropped out of forward contention early, but moved up gamely in the stretch and closed a big gap on her own courage. LEATHER-WOOD showed the most speed to the last eighth, but was tiring badly at the end. SLEDGE ran well. SUBURBAN showed speed. HUON PINE raced EAGERNESS into early defeat and. after a strenuous drive with ARAGON, took the lead, to win going away. ARAGON moved up steadily and took the lead when rounding the stretch turn, but tired badly when put to a drive. SKIRMISH raced forwardly all the way and out gamed EAGERNESS in the final sixteenth. EAGERNESS, away well, saved ground on all the turns and came again at the end. BOATMAN had no mishaps. AL BOYD carried the webbing all the way and had no chance. NEW MOON showed the most early speed, but quit badly at the end. DANGEROUS was always outrun. GUN BOAT closed up some ground fron a slow beginning.
